Potatoes NZ Inc. have established four simple statements; health, versatility, convenience and sustainability, referred to as the Four Pillars.  Each pillar can be supported by a range of proof points.  In addition we have proposed a marketing statement to support each key message which can be used in the development of any marketing collateral.

In 2013 Potatoes NZ Inc. re-developed its consumer website and in 2014 activated its social media activity through its Facebook presence.

New Zealand Guild of Foodwriters

Potatoes NZ Inc. works closely with the New Zealand Guild of Foodwriters to promote the key messages within this group.  Activities include being a stand-holder at the Guild’s annual Market Day, providing material for use at their meetings including sample potatoes, sponsoring events including their annual conference and providing unique networking opportunities for specific guild members.

 

Grower Magazine

Potatoes NZ Inc. also contributes articles and funding to the Grower magazine published by Horticulture New Zealand and distributed to all commercial vegetable and berryfruit growers.
