Contact Iain.Kirkwood@potatoesnz.co.nz for itinerary. \nPotato New Zealand (PNZ) Potato Tuber Moth Research Program meeting 3:00pm Friday 1st of July at the Indian Hall\, Pukekohe \nPNZ would like to invite you to a grower / industry meeting to discuss a proposed research program aimed at managing Potato tuber Moth both in the field and in store. Associate Prof Clive Kaiser (an applied Horticultural Scientist with a proven track record of implementing effective IPM programs for existing and emerging insect pests and diseases)\, from Lincoln University will present on current management strategies\, potential new approaches and possible research projects. Dr Iain Kirkwood (PNZ Technical Manager) will summarize a literature review and research already completed as part of the program. \nPreliminary Agenda \n\nOutline research already completed as part of the program\nOutline a proposed field trail for the coming season\nDiscuss ideas for the control of PTM in store\nFeed back from growers and Industry\nFuture work program – spray efficacy trials\, border crops\, biological control etc\n\nThe primary objective for the meeting is to receive feedback from growers and industry on the proposed program and any suggested improvements or additional research ideas.
