It is an introduction to managing risk in horticultural businesses and gives frontline managers and owners the tools they need to identify and control risks that may harm their workers. \n\n\n\nWorkshop outcomes for participants: \n\n\n\n\nUnderstand the legal requirements for risk assessment\n\n\n\nDefine the key terms including hazard\, harm\, risk and risk controls\n\n\n\nExplain the steps within the risk assessment process\n\n\n\nApply three specific tools to identify hazards\n\n\n\nDefine a critical risk and the importance of managing these\n\n\n\nUnderstand what a safe system of work is and its importance\n\n\n\n\nComplimentary course at no cost to the grower or packhouse.
