Purpose
The Life Member may be awarded to persons that have provided distinguished and honourable services to Potatoes New Zealand.
Eligibility
- Who can enter
Open to individuals involved in the potato industry in New Zealand.
- Membership
Nominees do not need to be members of Potatoes New Zealand, but they must be actively engaged in the potato industry, ie. an employee of a member. - Timeline
The nominee should have demonstrated outstanding and honourable services to Potatoes New Zealand over a period of at least 10 years. - Geographic Scope
Nominees must be based in New Zealand.

Nominations can be submitted online via the form at the bottom of this webpage. - Who Can Nominate
Nominations can be submitted by members, trade members, associate members, colleagues, mentors, industry peers, or by the nominees themselves from the potato industry. - Required materials
- A clear description of the nominee’s contributions to the potato industry, highlighting leadership qualities, achievements, and service to the potato industry.
- Optional supporting info such as testimonials, case studies, or media coverage.
Decision
- Final Decision
- The judging panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence shall be entered in to.
- Winners will be announced and recognised at the award presentation during the Potatoes Conference.

The contributions of award recipients will be highlighted across Potatoes New Zealand’s communication channels, raising awareness of their efforts.
