Molly Green is a Technical Field Advisor at Horticentre Group in Pukekohe. She emigrated to New Zealand from Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom in 2008 when she was 11 years old and has grown up around the Franklin Region.
Molly attended university and did a plant science degree through Massey University in Palmerston North.
In her current role with Horticentre, she works closely with growers, providing guidance, identifying, and resolving issues related to nutrition, pests, and diseases. Molly’s responsibilities include monitoring a variety of crops, primarily potatoes, lettuce, Chinese brassicas, spinach, and other brassicas.
She assists growers in identifying and resolving issues related to pests, nutrition, and diseases. Molly is passionate about helping growers solve problems and enjoys the challenges that comes with growing perfect produce.
Molly enjoys being involved in new initiatives and industry projects like the ALT demo farm in Pukekohe. These are going to be wonderful resource going forward.
Outside of work Molly enjoys spending time with and riding my horse, Sid!
