1. General

  • The Agronomy Summit is organised by Potatoes New Zealand Inc. (“PNZ”).
  • By registering for and attending the event, participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  • PNZ may update these Terms at any time, with changes published.

2. Registration

  • Registration is required to attend the event.
  • The Agronomy Summit is a free event, and no payment is collected.
  • PNZ reserves the right to decline or cancel registrations at its discretion, including where venue capacity is reached.

3. Cancellations and Substitutions

Attendee Cancellations
  • If you are no longer able to attend, please notify PNZ as early as possible so your place can be offered to others.
Substitutions
  • Substitutions are welcome at any time.
  • PNZ must be notified in writing of any substitution.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
  • PNZ may cancel or postpone the event due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., weather, venue issues, health restrictions, etc).
  • As the event is free, no refunds apply.
  • PNZ is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees.

4. Event Details

  • Date: Thursday, 6 August 2026
  • Venue: Pukekohe Golf Club, 654 Karaka Road, Karaka, Auckland 2578
  • PNZ may modify the programme, speakers, or schedule without prior notice.

5. Photography and Videography

  • Photography and video recording may take place throughout the Agronomy Summit for documentation, reporting, and promotional purposes by PNZ.
  • By attending the event, you acknowledge and agree that your image, likeness, and voice may be captured in photos or video and used in PNZ publications, social media, websites, or other promotional materials.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the event photographer or videographer directly on the day. PNZ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

6. Privacy and Data Use

  • Personal information collected during registration is used solely for event administration and communication.
  • PNZ complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
  • Attendee details will not be shared with third parties except where required for event delivery (e.g., venue, catering).

7. Catering and Dietary Requirements

  • PNZ will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requirements if advised at least 10 days before the event.
  • PNZ cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in food provided.

8. Health, Safety and Liability

  • Attendees must follow all venue health and safety requirements.
  • PNZ is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
  • Attendance is at the participant’s own risk.

9. Travel and Accommodation

  • Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.
  • PNZ is not responsible for travel disruptions or associated costs.

10. Code of Conduct

  • PNZ is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • PNZ may remove any attendee who breaches this code.
