International Day of Potato Promotion – Winners Announced – Competition Closed
On Saturday 30 May 2026, the world comes together for the International Day of Potato, recognising a crop that has shaped history, supported communities, and nourished billions. Potatoes are remarkable — adaptable, sustainable, and incredibly versatile. They thrive in different climates, are versatile and delicious as well as provide essential nutrients. They have travelled across continents, inspired cuisines, and become a beloved comfort food in homes globally.
To honour this remarkable vegetable, Potatoes New Zealand is celebrating by giving away Four Fantastic Prize Bundles for Four Lucky Winners. Shining a spotlight on the potato on International Day of Potato and celebrating our New Zealand growers who nurture potatoes from paddock to plate.
