Vegetable sector pre-election political debate

Want to hear what the various political parties will do to support vegetable growing in New Zealand, now and in the future?
Potatoes New Zealand, the NZ Vegetable Council (NZVeg), and the Pukekohe Vegetable Growers Association are bringing together politicians from across the political spectrum to debate the future of vegetable growing, less than a month out from the General Election on 7 November.
The confirmed line up is as follows:

- Labour | To be confirmed
- Greens | Steve Abel
- MC | NZVeg Chair, Dame Alison Stewart.
Pre debate refreshments will be kindly provided by Potatoes New Zealand and NZVeg, from 5.45pm. After the debate, a cash bar will operate. We expect the evening to conclude at 8pm.
AGENDA
5:00pm — Vegetables NZ AGM commences
5:45pm — Bar opens following the conclusion of the AGM
6:00pm — Arrival of Members of Parliament.
6:15pm — Debate commences.
7:15pm — Debate concludes; further refreshments will be served
