Something unusual is going on in Graham Reid’s garden.

Alongside the six potatoes that weighed more than one-and-a-half kg each, the Southland man also dug up a spud that resembles some sort of animal.

He’s been growing a garden for more than 60 years, starting when he was about 14, but this spud is one-of-a-kind.
