Chips are down, shops stock up

A potato shortage which is affecting chip production has meant retailers in Nelson are stocking up on potato chips ahead of Christmas.

Parts of the country are facing a shortage due to poor harvesting and growing conditions but for Nelson-based Proper Crisps it is business as usual.
