Every year Horticulture New Zealand and the Horticentre Trust offer scholarships to students who have a special interest in the fruit and/or vegetable industry and are studying towards an undergraduate degree.

Nutfield Scholarship

The Nutfield Scholarship is designed to fast-track the professional development of talented people from across our Food and Fibre Sector.

Each year up to five scholarships are awarded to New Zealand citizen, New Zealand permanent residency status individuals with backgrounds ranging from farming, growing, industry bodies, catchment groups, agricultural research, food and fibre innovations hubs.

Primary ITO

Primary ITO is New Zealand’s largest industry training organisation. Offering nationally recognised, NZQA qualifications in twenty nine industry sectors.

The Primary ITO helps more than 20,000 people every year gain the knowledge and skills they need for a productive and rewarding career in the agriculture, horticulture, water, equine, sports turf and food processing sectors.
