The 2018 People’s Choice Best Chips Competition has kicked off! Potatoes New Zealand supported by Bidfood Limited are on the hunt to find NZ’s favourite Chip Shop.
The winner will be announced in Auckland on the 20th September at the inaugural Chip Fest – a celebration of a deep fried chips.

Heath & Safety Workshops August 2018
Jack Main of Mainmech Engineering will look at a harvester on site and advise on guarding to meet the NZ Standards at each workshop.
We are still looking for venues and harvesters in Ohakune and Temuka/Timaru, if you would like to volunteer a venue and a harvester to look, please contact Justine directly.

Seed Certification Authority
The Seed Potato Certification Authority will be meeting at the Hotel Ashburton on Tuesday 7th of August to discuss changes to the rules for the coming season. A grower meeting will be held at 3pm for any member to attend and discuss the proposed rule changes.
