- PNZ did not submit on this Plan Change, but Hort NZ did
- PNZ will decide at next board meeting whether to appeal in addition to the Hort NZ appeal
- Pukekohe growers will have an opportunity to attend a PVGA meeting with PNZ later in September date TBC
- PNZ will carry out 3 case studies of FEPs and consent process in Pukekohe, to determine the technical difficulties that Waikato PC1 presents our industry, in order to support any appeal to Waikato Council

Sustainable Vegetable Systems Project (PNZ-79): The funding contract with MPI is now signed by all partners; Potatoes NZ, Horticulture NZ, Vegetables Research & Innovation (Onions NZ, Vegetables NZ, Processed Veg NZ and NZ Buttercup Squash). See the September issue of NZ Grower for the news on SVS. We plan to present an overview at the Horticulture NZ AGM this year. SVS outcomes will play a vital role in providing farmer tools to meet regulatory changes.
PNZ Process Sector Recovery
The anti-dumping tariff application was submitted on 3rd July 2020 and we are awaiting MBIE’s decision. Our investigator continues to gather evidence of the European fries appearing at cut-price in retail and via food distributors to hospitality. You can email evidence to Trzzn.Pneebyy@cbgngbrfam.pb.am
